The Wheelchair Service in Somerset
If you don't have a wheelchair but think that you need one, have a chat with your GP or health care worker and they will arrange for an assessment of your needs.
If you already have a wheelchair but need a new or different one you can self-refer to the Exeter Mobility Centre (EMC). Somerset commissions all wheelchair provision from the EMC, which is located on Lister Close, Wonford Road, just a few hundred metres from the main Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital site.
